I don't know a whole lot about turbo's, but I know a few things. First, you'll notice that a lot of diesel turbo's have 2 inlets in the exhaust portion, so you will find that it may want the matching manifold. A single inlet would probably be better for what you want. The next big problem I see is getting fuel to the engine.... If you've got a pressurised intake, gravity fed gas isn't going to work.... There are ways around this. I think they build air boxes around the carb to pressurise the atmosphere around the carb, or something to that effect anyway..... I've never done it. Fuel injection makes these problmes so much simpler. Beyond that, turbo's have ratings. They move so many lb/min of air, and those ratings, and the turbo's themselves are a factor of what the engine draws in 1 atmosphere, plus how much boost you want to add. It's really a fairly technical thing. Other than the inlet issue, a turbo is pretty much a turbo.... other than sizing considerations. Don't assume that because the turbo came off a diesel engine that it will actually help you. It could hinder if it's too small.... That's about all I know on the subject. Rod

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
