Take it from a guy who has both gas and diesel. My big Case LA can burn 4 to 5 gallons an hour even on light work but can pull a 5 bottom plow when needed.

My Kubota can run all day on half a tank mowing and baling and raking and brush hogging. But it can't pull a 5 bottom plow.

If I was smart I'd get a diesel to do my heavy work also the cost would be less than half what it takes to run that LA.
