Compared to other tractors of similar size the 1800 will be more efficient. But it's not fair to compare a 80 hp 1800 to a 66 hp 1650. On the other hand the 1800/1750 will do a lot more work in the field in the same amount of time. For what he needs perhaps the 1650 would be big enough and be cheaper to run.
