IH656 gas rig would burn 5-6 gallons/hr when pulling a plow or disc. JD3020 gas burned 6+/hr.
The answer to your question lies in how many hours you are going to use it.
I would like to replace my 11mpg Suburban but for the cost of a newer rig I can buy alot of fuel since I don't drive it all that much.
