Not true. My dad had both a 4010 and a 3020, both gas. Doing heavy tillage work, you watched that fuel guage very close, and usually headed to the fuel barrel at noon. Lighter work, such as cultivating, mowing or raking hay, you could easily get two or three days out of a tank full.
