I am wanting too put a two inch lift on my '73 ford.. or two iches more that is.. and for the rear I was going too get a chunk of thick walled square stock.. like say 6X2X6. that is too say, six inches tall, two inches wide, and 6 inches long.. but would this hold up? thats all the blocks are made of right now, 2X4X6" blocks from the factory.. but a buddy of mine said there is no way it would hold.. and at times I do have around 1 ton of weight in the bed.. so would I need a chunk of solid? or would square tubing work like I think it would? thanks for any input! Tim
