I guess odd man out on this one but I had 7000 12 row went to the IH 900 series horizontal rear fold unit. I would never go back to the Deere units. When last used i always finished planting the neighbors seed that would not empty out of those planters. The seed bounce all that talk usually solved simply by slowing down. All of them do way better at 4mph then the 6 and 8 everybody wants to do. I put the Kinze planters together with all the different coulters trash wheels,Plastic seed firmers etc etc etc. If I were still doing it today I would still find a 900 series Ih planter.I quit row crops few yeras back and went to hay cropping instead. This year looks like the ground that I was still doing in bean rotation will simply rent out. High rent is payng more than I can net raising soybeans. Things sure change
