Owned an IH air planter for 20 years. A 400 for 6 years and an 800 for 14 years. The worked OK for light no-tilling with no extra attachments. About 6 years ago I bought a new Kinze with coulters and row cleaners. I like the Kinze planter much better. Had a lot of trouble with seed bounce with the air planter. Seed spacing and depth were inconsistent. Would diffenent not go back to an air planter. Vacum planters are also better than air planters.
