Loader cylindars

Hey guys I've got a question. What's the best way to leave a front loader sitting on a tractor? Here's what I mean--when you shut the tractor down and walk away, do you extend the front bucket enough so that water will not pool up inside the bucket (to prevent the bucket from rusting)? It seems like most guys do that. But doesn't that leave the cylinders exposed so they would rust? I like to pull the bucket close to the tractor so that the cylinders are covered. What is best?
