hi farmer , DO NOT take the gun to the cops And do not cut it up find the serial and write it down the goto the cops with the # written on paper tell them you found a gun you are interested in from an individual but before you buy you want to make sure the gun is leagel and not stolen . i have bought alot of things real cheap because someone needed the money that were legit just because it was bought cheap dosn't mean it was stolen , fwiw mike
