I think this is an entirely new engine, as opposed to the ORIGINAL 5.9, which has been sold around the world, for any applications. I think I would want to wait a year or 2, to see how they work out. Personally, I think the old 160 HP 5.9 was one of the best engines ever made.. I know they had to satisfy the need for more power, as well as EPA emissions, but I hated to see them go to all the electronic pumps and gizmos..
