My wife drives an 02 1500 with the 4.7 in it,it's been a great car..but no way I would call it a truck..that 4.7 is a high winding,low torque car motor..exactly what you don't need in a truck..I won't hook it to anything bigger than a 12' utility trailer,thats all it wants.. ours gets 16 mpg and really has been great and trouble free,but not what you want if your gonna be pullin much..
