How to mount a winch on my tractor

I bought a used Ramsey winch from a friend of mine,and I am trying to figue out how to mount it so I can take it off and mount it on another tractor. Thought about making a frame for the winch and then mounting a heavy chain on it and hook the chain to the tractor and make some heavy cables with clamps on it to connect to the battery and then if I need it on another tractor it will come off easy and then hook it on another tractor,would this work? Or has anybody got a better idea? Thanks
