I ruined a lot of batteries letting them sit over winter, now I make sure they are swapped into something used over the winter or brought within reach of the charge so they can get a hit of juice once a month or so in the winter. I'd like to try some gell cells but people tell me the quality of them has been declining in the last 10 years along with the prices.
