Just like the saying goes, "If you cant stomach the market then dont put money in it" I lost $5K too on Tuesday.....But it always comes back in time. On one of the Putnam funds they have a graph that show if you put $10,000 in their Growth and income funds in 1957 it would be worth $2,300,000 now in 2006. The stock market is a way for middle class guys like me to make money in the long run and retire.
