DO NOT ADD ATF!!! This is an old wives tale. ATF is full of a lot of stuff like friction modifiersand all kinds of junk that newer diesel fuel systems do not like. If you gonna go to the trouble, put in fuel treatment. You wouldn't put diesel treatment in your automatic transmission would you?
