Once you do what the other posts say and you take him out hunting when you get to the tree before you shoot the gun tie him back and when the coon is shot out lead him up to the coon and praise him for the good job he did. Another thing when you scold him be careful not to do it to hard many good dogs have been ruined that way. just my 2 cents worth.
