David, I enjoy seeing your posts, your pictures, and hearing your thoughts. I've often thought that the best deal for anything is one that I can live with. If I really want an item, I might pay more for it than someone else would. So what? If I wanted it, maybe it's worth more to me than the next person. Value is a relative thing. I'd say if you think it's a fair price, buy it and enjoy the tractor. That would be especially true if you're certain you will not find another in this condition. Just my opinion.
