A dealer is only as good as his parts counter man. I have had parts men tell me that something wasn't available, went to another parts guy who went and got out the old microfiche machine, looked up a part number, cross referenced it , came up with a new number, came up with the part and I had it in two days. All it is is some lazy azz that doesn't want to exert himself to try and help, a poor parts guy can quickly ruin the reputation of a company ordering the wrong parts or in my case stating they are no longer available. It is a casual attitude that a lot of employees get, they need periodic training and pep talks about service, after all that's their job and if the service starts to take the company down their job will go with it, too few realize the connection
