The wife (who WANTED to live on a farm) quickly got over it. My older sons, one of whom LOVED to be at the shop with me have moved on to OTHER important things in their lives, but my 7-y-o still enjoys the farm and the shop. He tells me that, unlike his brothers, he always will.

So I'm enjoying the good times with Noah. I have a couple of good friends who like to come over and reminise, or watch me "play" with my lathe, or other "toys", and, on occasion, even help out a bit. Even my B-I-L, who was busy keeping up with his woman for quite a while has been coming around more lately.
Life is GOOD at the shop, at least for now! (Only bad thing is I can't enjoy a few "barley pops" with the old friends like I used to!)
