Before removing Norton download one of the free programs.
I use Avast. www.avast.com
There is also AVG. www.grisoft.com
And AntiVir. www.free-av.com/ Then disconnect from the internet.
Uninstall Norton.
Install which ever program you selected.
Then reconnect to the internet and do the updates. Pooh Bear
