Hi;
The bird flu has been contained to one farm, one of the largest rearers of chickens and turkeys & processors of cooked poultry meat (processed, sliced & pre-packed) in the Country.
All the turkeys on the place were slaughtered & incinerated.
No definate cause has been publicly announced !
The farming company has been slated for its lack of hygeine and uncleanliness !!! The place has been closed down temporalily and the workers laid off.
Thankfully no other farms have been affected so far.
