Computer not working right

Hy fellows. I know this way OT, however there is vast knowledge of information out there, so maybe someone will have an answer. When I hit the expand button to read a topic and scrol down through the threads, then hit the back button to return to form the thing jumps to top of page just momentarily, then jumps again to top of page.
Then have to scrol down to where was before. What is going on? Sorry about being off topic.
