I am greeted by the surcingles hanging on the wall every morning I walk into the barn. I am really wondering how you might have woke up with one in your hand in the morning, must have been one duzy of a night. In case a few people didn't have the priviledge of being around dairy cows, a surcingle was a leather or vinyl strap that went around a cows belly to hold the surge bucket milker or breaker cup(type of pipeline milker) at just the right height and length from a cows teats.
