Many Echo products became "unsupported" and obsolete when their US distributor changed back in the early 90s. Most parts for older stuff simply wasn`t carried. That is a fault with the distributor and the parent company for allowing it IMO. I had a few Echo saws at that time but I never looked back toward Echo after that point.
