Larry, I have a 95 Chevy 4.3 that would NOT start. I tried cap, rotor, brain box, (ign. mod.) and even fuel pump. (yes I had to take the bed off) Still would not start. I gave up and towed it to the local GM dealer for the yearly porking. Came to find out, it was the ignition switch. (not meaning the key tumbler, but the lower switching device) He explained that there is basicly a "Y" in the wiring that allows the starter to turn over fine, but does not allow current anywhere else when it is bad. Try that before you waste several hundred on stuff you don't need, like I did!
