well walt...from here on all i could do is guess cuz i'm a "fergie" guy. so i'll step back and let the farmall experts advise you. i still hope it's something simple for your sake...but i'd still order out the manuals. if you have them handy when you need them (and you will) they're worth their weight in gold. oh and...don't pass on the parts manuals either...they have part breakdown drawings in some of them that can be REALLY helpful. -mike
