carson...i really wasn't too worried about you messin' something up in the tranny, but i could see the possibility of messing up a connecting rod or two by jamming that much weight thru it to a solid stuck piston. i think your theory is ok...something would probably "give" loose, i'm just not sure what. maybe one of these other guys will chime in and tell us if i'm right to worry or worried about nothing? by the way...have you thought about trying the boiling water trick i told you about? like i said, i've never done it or seen it done, but i've had several people tell me it works. maybe some more guys will chime in here and say what they think...fact or fiction? you've never said where you live. you must be way out in the "boonies" like i am...the closest anything to me is at least 25 miles away. keep pluggin' away on that farmall. take care buddy, -mike
