Time for CO3 detectors in our barns? Maybe. In my new house I'm having a relay installed so that when the Smoke or CO3 detector goes off, it starts the attic fan. I don't want to wake up dead. And, before you say it, yes, the fan may feed a fire, but it is the smoke that kills you long before the flame gets going. And CO3, as has been noted, will kill you in your sleep.
