The CHEAPEST way to get a tractor with live hydraulics is to buy
a tractor already equipped with it. If you really NEED the live
hydraulics, trade the H for a 300 (or newer). The marginal
difference between the value of an H and the value of a 300 will
likely be far less than the value of the time, labor and parts
spent trying to retrofit something to a tractor not meant to have
it. This idea works for all brands and also is sound advice to
those who buy tractors without serial number tags. If you want
a tractor with a serial number or with live pto or power steering
or live hydraulics---BUY IT EQUIPPED THAT WAY in the first
place!
