I have both pull and 3 point. I like both but for clearing a large field I prefer the pull type. It just seems to get the job done faster with less trouble. But the 3 point is very handy in small places where you have to move around object a lot.
My pull type it built like a tank and will easily take down 3 in. saplings and leave nothing but tooth picks behind it.

The only problem is making a short turn and wiping out the U-joint.
