I READ YOUR POST TO ME LAST WEEK.YOU SAID MY CONVERTER SUPPOSED TO SLIP A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE.WHEN WE TEST DROVE IT WITH SCAN TOOL ON,IT WAS SLIPPING HIGHER THAN IT WAS SUPOSED TO.THE PCM WAS CALLING FOR LOCK UP,BUT WOULD SLOWLY ENGAGE AND FINALLY LOCK,BUT SLIPPED AND SHUDDERED WHEN IT HIT A HILL.WE LIVE IN HILLY COUNTRY SO TRANS HAS TO SHIFT A LOT IN AND OUT OF LOCKUP.THE TRANS SHOP GUY TOLD ME THE TRANS MIGHT AS WELL BE TO BE REBUILT SINCE THE CONVERTER WAS BAD ANYWAY.YOU SAID IT COULD BE MODULATING(?)SOLENOID POSIBLY.OTHER THAN THIS,THE TRANS SHIFTS FINE.HOW CAN I TELL IF THE SOLENOID WILL CURE IT? THANKS FOR ANY HELP.
