You asked for advice??? GET OVER IT! You're not out anything but your time, wasted watching and bidding on the ebay item. If he is that dishonest, BE GLAD he didn't follow through on the sale. Who knows what condition the equipment would have be in, or any other "catches" that might have gone with the deal, had he completed the sale! I think you got by pretty lucky, compared to SOME guys who actually GET the machinery (junk) they bid on!
