I am looking at an old TE20 serial 59868.
I came home tonight and got on here to read about it and still looking after 3 hours. I cant find any info other than year..serial..hp..and pics. Where are the web sites like for the 8n I can find complete service manuals. For this fergy I would like to know that if it is a 1948....where did the overhead valve engine come from when the 8n is still using flatheads in 1953. Also what is the S on the transmission for? It has 1,2,3,4,R,S . I guess SLOW maybee? Then is this better than the 8n that has only as low as first gear...that I feel is too fast? Is this old tractor worth $1000.oo if it at least turns over? I am trying to decide in 2 days do I get this for 1000 or save 2400 for an 8n. My interest is in bushogging and light grader box work on my new farm. Any help is appreciated...Vic Please reply at vls@juno.com

Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
