I know what you mean. I got an old disk, and I don't have a CLUE! MIGHT be an IH, but haven't found a way to tell for sure. On your rake, look for part or casting numbers. Sometimes they'll have a manufacturers mark, like JD for John Deere or IH, or the Ford script, etc. Second thing, look for traces of paint. Under a particularly greasy spot, or maybe take something off and look under it. Paint color might give you a clue. Third, take a picture and post it. Somebody might be able to ID it from a picture.
