The push pull cable that runs from the console to the three point valve is prone to rusting fast. I know several years ago when I was shopping for 3020/4020, that cable was rusted fast on most of the 3020 as if they'd been used for draw behind and PTO power a lot more than three point implements. Two years ago my 4020 cable froze up in the spring. There's no solution but replacing the cable, Deere stores tend to keep them in stock.
