The most common mode of front drive axle failure I've seen is a Hero Driver slogging throught deep water, mud and manure above the breather vent on the axle.
And they wouldn't know what the axle drain and fill plugs were if you hit the owner with them. Let alone the concept of draining out contaiminated lube, flushing and adding fresh GL-4 Marine High Pressure Lube.
