The self checkout wasn't designed to save you time it was designed to save the store the expense of hiring checkers and the long lines at the manned checkout lines are by plan so people will go ahead and use the self checkout.And as long as suckers keep going for it all hook line and sinker they'll keep doing it.I rarely go to Walmart I'd rather pay a litle more at a store that gives decent service.You get what you pay for.
