It's still a big problem and todays rangers or lawmen have to be real computer savy to catch the thieves in big feed yards rustling them on paper too. One magazine here and newspaper recently did a article on the job of modern day rangers and what they do catching cattle rustlers and they all have huge area to cover and work with local sheriffs also.
