The W-4 was a wheatland tractor, used mostly out west where there were no row crops.It's the same motor as the H Farmall. At the time they made the W-4 they also made the W-6 which is the same as the M Farmall and the W-9 which is the biggest. Hope this helps to answer your question. Jim
