Loader Joysticks

I was down at the IH dealer looking at the new tractors with loaders. Most all the loaders are joystick controlled, and on the joystick they often have one or two small buttons. What do these buttons do? The joystick runs both the lift and tilt, so the only think I can figure is maybe float or a solenoid valve for a grapple? Anybody know? Thanks
