Yes, I have worn rubber/latex gloves for 10 years. Did it by accident at first while doing hydraulic work and wear them whenever really greasy or dirty. They work wonderful. Also, I wear in cool or cold weather and they are like a thin glove. I buy gloves by the two-pack at Sam's club for $9.50 and get 200 individual gloves. Bonus to staying clean is the chemical or solvent thing and I always wear with spray chemicals or while spray painting. Yes, people will tease you at first and I never really got over that.
