2-16s will be everything that 1010 can pull. you may need some weights in adition to loading the tires. Timing is important. I was raised in the area and the soil has to be the right moisties not too dry or you won't be able to touch. Spray everything with round up and you will kill what is growing. You will however plow up a new batch of seeds you will need to control.
