With that head off they should be able to tell lots of things for you. Has it been overhauled or doesit need to be overhauled are just a couple. I about bought a 966 back in 78. I asked them to put it on the dyno cause dad had a strong 966 and if I was gonna pull the same equipment I needed the HP. It only had 75 Hp and there rated at 105 or so. I didn't buy. Keep at them till you get what you want.
