I don't think the modern powersteering fluid for cars would work as well in an older tractor that was designed to use a slightly heavier engine oil. I'd stick with a hydraulic oil in the PS for sure.

That said, I've never spent more than 2 hours driving an allis much less maintaining one so there could be some arguements there as per my recommendations.
