I had a bunch of RG-59 laying around when I did mine, and since I was running thru conduit I figured I'd give it a try. Dish is about 60 ft from house, and teevee is on other side of house, so it's about a 90 ft run. I've only had it installed for about 9 years, so I don't know if it's going to be a problem or not. Haven't seen any problems due to anything except weather so far. Had lots of folks tell me I'd need the more complete shield coverage of RG-6, but so far it hasn't been an issue. I'm out in the woods, though, far from anything that might cause interference, and I have an older single-LNB dish.
