My barn has a metal roof on it. In the fall winter and spring it rains more inside than outside at times. The condesation builds up on the inside of the roof and runs down to end of each sheet where it drips on the hay. so i have long black marks across my hay all winter long.
For cows it don't matter but o don't feed it to my horse.
My tractors live in the barn also and I have to put the seats up so they will be dry when i use them.
someday when i rich I may replace the metal roof but until then i'm stuck with raining inside.

You are sometimes better off leaving things out in the open rather than covering them up as they dry out during the day.
