For what it's worth. I loaded up a brand new Kubota M 105 complete with cab and loader on my 14,000# trailer hooked to my '01 chevy dually. The Kubota weighed in the neighborhood of 8,000#, the loader and cab added another 2,000# or so. I hauled this rig for a distance of about 56 miles. Nice weather, no headwind, never could get up enough speed to shift into 6th gear overdrive except when going downhill, and then had to downshift when the road leveled out. I sure wouldn't have wanted the entire state of Nebraska to have to travel across.
