Never been to the Speedway, or Haspin Acres, and I am only 1/8th of a mile from the Speedway driveway. I was going to go to the last Tractor Pull up there in October, but it was the weekend of Tall Stacks, in Cincinnati, and had tickets for a Dinner Cruise on the Cincinnati Belle, so we went to Cincinnati instead. The noise is not that bad from the speedway, worse noise comes from the Jake Brakes coming down the hill on 44, which does not bother me any, as I used one of them a lot before retiring, in my 30 years of driving semis.
