Far as I know,none of the IH gas V8 engines matched the bell housing pattern of the 4 and 6 cyl tractor engines. Many of the IH tractors have a steel block plate between the clutch housing and engine block that likely could be remachined to fit a V8 gas block pattern.
Anyone know how the 1468 ?? was done ?? That was an IH V8 truck diesel in a tractor frame.
